Building a new type of blog

So it comes with a heavy heart that I must announce that I’ll have to take a break from this blog for awhile, at least in terms of the Denver posts.  Sparing the details, I had to pack my belongings in storage and head my way back east. It’s especially a bad time since I was just featured by History Colorado!

But nevertheless, here’s me and Rhonda2 (my first car I named Rhonda and when she died this one took her place in life but not my heart) saying goodbye to Colorado at the New Mexico border. Please don’t steal my identity through the plate number, I have so little to my name as it is. I’m laughing so hard right now because this the worst angle for my car because it shows not only the missing hubcap but also the missing Toyota symbol.  I came out to my car one day and someone had backed into me and I couldn’t relocate the emblem.  It was first hit loose when I was sitting in a Starbucks parking lot this summer and some guy in a big truck pulled into the spot in front of me and hit me.    While I was sitting IN IT and I was parked. That really happened.  I looked up and made eye contact that obviously said “are you kidding me?” and then he just looked at me and shrugged. Can’t win ’em all.

I thought about taking a number of pictures of Denver places before I left but it all happened so quickly, I just didn’t have enough time.  But, I hope to keep this blog going! Denver is great, but it isn’t the only place with cool architecture!

To make the journey back to the Midwest under my current circumstances a little less sad, I decided to visit my friend in Dallas, Texas!

I got in at about 2:30AM so today is my first day of eyeing up some buildings to take a picture of so I can do a post from here in Dallas!  I have my bikes with me, so I figure why not!

I also plan to keep up the blog the best I can from the following places:  Elgin, Illinois; Chicago, Illinois; Madison, Wisconsin; Oxford, Wisconsin; hopefully Cincinnati, Ohio and maybe some others.

I hope I’ll be able to return to Denver, but for now I have to roll with the punches and I hope you’ll all still tag along with me!
